Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) |
Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), often divided into two different forms - acute ITP that means it usually follows a viral illness in a child and the other one is chronic ITP, its normally happened in adult.
Furthermore, acute ITP occurs among the child and only little bleeding and the platelet count does not fall too low. Normally, acute ITP don't have specific treatment.
Its totally different with Chronic ITP because it happened in adults. Treatment for Chronic ITP depend on the condition of the platelet level and may be no treatment needed if platelet level not pose a significant risk of hemorrhage. |
